ABOUT AMANDA NICKELL Amanda has been an aesthetician for more than 3 years. With a background in nursing, Amanda fell in love with the beauty industry at a young age and has been thriving in it since. She is fully trained and certified in: Eyelash Extensions, Facials, Permanent Cosmetics, Micro-Needling (Collagen-Induction Therapy), Microblading, Waxing, Lash/Brow Tinting, Makeup Application, Spray-Tanning and Chemical Peels.

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Amanda moved to Seattle, Washington 5 years ago to pursue her dream of becoming an Aesthetician. She attended Evergreen Beauty College and graduated with the honors of being “Student of the Month” all six months she attended along with “Top Sales.” She was given the “International Esthetician of the Year” award through the Nuts and Bolts Program and accepted the honor in Long Beach, California during her attendance to the Yearly Professional Beauty Association Conference.

She has been a member of the Associated Skin Care Professionals Association since 2014 and attends yearly conferences and seminars to stay on top of the latest skin care techniques and services. She received her Permanent Cosmetics and Microblading training through the world-renowned, Baltic Brows by Rita Roma. Doing eyelash extensions has been her true love. She does classic and volume extensions. What sets her apart is that she makes her own fans for volume lashes. It is very important for her to customize each fan for her client’s lashes while maintaining the integrity of them. She takes monthly courses through IS Clinical University to continue her skincare education and she was trained in makeup application through MAC Cosmetics.

In her freetime, she enjoys time with her daughter, Parker and her dog, Nugget. She enjoys watching football, in particular, the Baltimore Ravens and loves watching UFC fighting.

Amanda has now achieved her ultimate goal of being a salon owner of Amanda Parker Studios. She wants to help each client achieve their ultimate skin care goals and feel beautiful at the same time.
